ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ Ranks No. 2 of Master’s Universities in the West, Highest Graduation Rate
ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½, Calif., Sept. 9, 2014-- ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ is according to U.S. News and World Report. ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ earned an , a dramatic increase from 90 just five years ago. At 94 percent, ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ has the highest freshman retention rate of any master’s university in the country and also has the highest graduation rate in the West, at 84 percent.
ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ made great strides in several key areas this year.
- 80 percent of ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ freshmen were in the top 25 percent of their high school class in 2012, up from 75 percent in 2011.
- More students recognize the quality of an ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ education and are applying. ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½’s acceptance rate dropped to 50 percent.
- ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ cultivates proud and generous alumni and saw an increase in its average rate from 18 percent in 2012 to 22 percent this year.
- ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½’s was named one of the best undergraduate engineering programs, coming in 14th among the selective programs ranked.
- ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½’s was also listed as one of the top 100 Best Business Programs, ranking 62.
