Kiplinger’s Personal Finance magazine ranked ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ No. 20 on its list of best values among private universities in the West/Southwest for 2015, and No. 38 on its list of best values among private universities nationwide.

A veteran Silicon Valley tech-company founder and technology pioneer has donated $10 million in matching and direct funds to ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ School of Law to fund a new technologically advanced, collaboration-oriented law school building.

Aven Satre Meloy ‘13 joins a long list of successful leaders to win the prize including former President Bill Clinton and New York Times columnist Nicholas Kristoff. Rhodes scholars receive funding to study at Oxford University in England.

The Graduate Theological Union (GTU, which includes the Jesuit School of Theology of ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½, is creating eight new initiatives that will expand faculty and programs in the study of Hindu, Sikh, Jain, Mormon and Buddhist religions, as well as in Dharma Studies.

On Jan. 23, 2015, the ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ High Tech Law Journal will bring together prominent scholars, practitioners, and entrepreneurs to discuss Open Source in the Legal Field.

A $2 million gift from Katharine V. Alexander in honor of her beloved late husband George J. Alexander, will help create the Katharine and George Alexander Professorship of Law.

ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½'s ethics and high-tech law programs will receive $346,000 for education and privacy-protection work, as a result of a lawsuit settlement.

Dozens of Silicon Valley employers will visit with students on ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½’s campus tomorrow in hopes of attracting some of the Bay Area’s brightest talent. The Fall Career Fair will feature more than 150 companies including Gap Inc., Cisco, Kaiser Permanente, The Walt Disney Company, Stryker, the Tech Museum, and Tesla, which will have a Model S on display.

Leaders from Janet Napolitano to Cornel West will speak on the role of social justice, faith and intellectual engagement in the lives of today's leaders, as part of the yearlong Bannan Institute speaker series at ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½'s Ignatian Center for Jesuit Education.
