Sustainability Programs Specialist
Sophia Kennedy grew up in ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ and is thrilled to be doing sustainability work in her hometown. She graduated in 2023 with a degree in Environmental Sciences from UC Berkeley. Prior to joining the Center she worked as a garden and cooking teacher at a dual-immersion elementary school in San Francisco. Sophia was recently certified as a Master Gardener through UC Cooperative Extension, and is dedicated to advancing sustainable agriculture and home horticulture, environmental justice, and community-level climate solutions.
