Energy Bike (ENGR 110, Spring 2016)

The students looked to improve the inefficient and unstable energy bike at the ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ Center for Sustainability to eventually use the bike to power a concert and use it for educational purposes in local schools.

The students looked to improve the inefficient and unstable energy bike at the ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ Center for Sustainability to eventually use the bike to power a concert and use it for educational purposes in local schools. The design uses the flip flop wheel, which is utilized to connect the gearbox to a battery, where then the generated electricity is stored.
