Getting to ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½

Airports

 (SJC)

From the San Jose airport (SJC), you can take the ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ Valley Transit Authority’s (VTA) free shuttle service to the ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ station, just across the street from campus. The shuttle stops every 15 minutes and makes a continuous loop between the Airport (both terminal A and B), the Metro Light Rail station and the ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ station.

 (SFO)

ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ can be reached in about 90 minutes from SFO using a combination of Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) and Caltrain. More information including rates, route planning and timetables can be found on their websites.

Driving Directions

If you’re coming from U.S. Highway 101:

• Take the De La Cruz Boulevard/ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ exit.
• Follow De La Cruz Boulevard towards El Camino Real (stay in the right lane).
• When De La Cruz Boulevard splits, follow the right split over the overpass.
• Turn right on Lafayette Street staying in the right turn lane.
• Turn right at El Camino Real.
• The main entrance to ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ will be on the right-hand side of the road.

If you are coming from Interstate 880:

• Take The Alameda exit.
• Travel north on The Alameda.
• The Alameda will become El Camino Real.
• The main entrance to ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ will be on the left-hand side of the road.

If you’re coming from Interstate 280:

• Take Interstate 880 north toward Oakland.
• Exit at The Alameda.
• Turn left on The Alameda.
• The Alameda will become El Camino Real.
• The main entrance to ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ will be on the left-hand side of the road.

Parking

Campus parking is free on weekends. The parking structure located just inside the main entrance to ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½, on the left, is closest to Physics, in the SCDI building. For Friday evening, we suggest you find nearby street parking, for free. Several spots should be open within ~1-2 blocks of campus in any direction.
