Student Research
Research-active faculty often mentor student researchers, supervise honors theses, write letters of recommendation, and support student attendance at conferences and other professional development opportunities. ESS students learn valuable skills, often participating in multiple phases or original research projects, ranging from the early stages of project conception to literature review, data collection, analysis, writing, and including co-authorship on academic publications. We also support students in their self-initiated research projects.
