Faculty Update: Lisa Kealhofer

Lisa Kealhofer is retiring!

Dr. Lisa Kealhofer is a professor in both the Department of Environmental Studies and Sciences and the Department of Anthropology. She has served as the Chair of Anthropology (2006-2013), Acting Director of the Environmental Studies Institute (2006), and as Interim Campus Archaeologist (2010-2013). Her upper division Historical Ecology and Food, Culture and the Environment classes were popular additions to our ESS curriculum. Since joining ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½, her research in Anatolia and Southeast Asia has been supported by grants totaling over $1.35 million. Over the course of her career, she has authored or coauthored nearly 100 publications—including a book, dozens of peer-reviewed journal articles, and chapters in peer-reviewed books—garnering over 3,100 citations. Though retiring, Lisa has many plans to continue her archeological research. Congratulations on your retirement Lisa!
