Kelly Detweiler 2025 Triton Museum Honoree

Kelly Detweiler, Professor of Art and Art History was awarded a commendation by the Triton Museum and the City of ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ as an educator and as an advocate for the Arts in ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½. The Triton Museum of Art celebrated their 60th Diamond Anniversary year with three Triton Honorees who have made significant contributions to the arts in ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½. Kelly is one of three Honoree for "education" as an artist and educator.

Kelly Detweiler has taught thousands of students at ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ over his 43 year career as a Professor of Art and guided many into successful careers in the arts. He has worked to bring diverse communities in our region and internationally together by advocating for, planning and facilitating international exhibitions and exchanges with artists of various countries including Japan, Korea and others at the Triton Museum of Art and other Museums and galleries. He has well represented the City of ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ in his many artistic forays into museums and galleries throughout the country and abroad.
